A health maintenance organization (HMO) is a health insurance plan that provides health care to its members through a network of providers. HMOs often provide coordinated care and focus on prevention and wellness.
To order a new card and also print a temporary one, log on to your account at www.avmed.org
. Your new card will take 7-10 business days to arrive.
Visit www.avmed.org, find the “Account Login” box, and click the “Register” button. The “Register for an Online Account” page will display. Choose the first option in the middle of the page, “Members”, and then choose “Member Registration Page”. You will receive an email with instructions on how to finish registering your account.
, find the “Account Login” box, and click the “Forgot User ID or Password?” link. The “Register for an Online Account” page will display. Choose the first option in the middle of the page, “Members”, and then choose “Password Reset Page”.
You will follow the same instructions provided to reset the password. Once you enter all of your personal information and hit “next”, your User ID will be displayed on the bottom right.
